Shows bays, islands, shallows, mudflats, a canal, lighthouse, and location of Aransas City. The lighthouse location is just behind the pass. Over the years, the pass gradually moved south and today, it is more than a mile south of the lighthouse. The building of the jetties finally stabalized the location of the pass.
