The Mustang Island Paddling Trails follow the western shoreline of Mustang Island in Corpus Christi Bay. The trails skirt the beautiful, protected waters of Shamrock Cove and then meander through marsh and spoil islands to the Island Moorings Marina in Port Aransas.

The trails offer more than 20 miles of natural habitat for observing various species of birds, armadillos and small mammals. This area also has some of the best shallow-water fishing in Texas.

The trails are a part of Mustang Island State Park and can be accessed from several launch points off State Highway 361.
